Easy Crock Pot Chili

1-2 lbs ground beef (I use ground turkey)
1 large diced onion
1 can (20+ oz) tomato juice
2 - 14 ½ oz cans kidney beans (drained)
2 – 14 ½ oz cans stewed tomatoes
1 package Lawry’s chili mix
Chopped green pepper (optional)
1 can of corn (optional)
Salt & pepper to taste


Brown meat with diced onion. Drain fat. Put in crock pot and add all ingredients. Cook on low for several hours. Use less tomato juice to make chili thicker and more tomato juice to make chili thinner.

Serve with warm corn bread and whipped honey butter
